and I like it!!! It’s nice and small but packed with features. The webcam is very good too. And I like the way it resumes from standby in about a second.

I ordered a MacBook with a US keyboard. I don’t live in the US so I have to wait longer for it. It should arrive the 16th of October. And I must say, having to wait that long is getting annoying!

Oh well, it will even be a bigger surprise once it arrives…

Since I’m going back to school I sold my Mac Mini and bought a Mac Book. Can’t wait for it to arrive. Don’t know if I’m gonna install Ubuntu or stick with Mac OS X. I’ll certainly install Ubuntu once just to see what I prefer. Maybe I’ll install it dual boot.

Will post some pics when it arrives.

Yesterday I found some nice songs covered by Lily Allen, spend 4 dollars and they were mine. I really love them! The songs are : Cheryl Tweedy, Naïve (originally by the Kooks), Nan You’re a Window Shopper and Everybody’s Changing (originally by Keane).

Soon the new album of Keane will be out too. Can’t wait!

I also found some music that really sounds like those old tunes on those computers from the 80’s.

Last weekend I’ve been to Rock Werchter and it was great! I liked Radiohead the most. They were amazing! Bought a shirt and a sweater. Other bands I liked are: The Chemical Brothers, The Hives, Editors, Beck, Kings of Leon and Mark Ronson.

Been listening to Editors the last few days and I like it. I might buy a cd or two.

Haven’t been kiting for a while now. The weather has been bad lately and I’ve been busy with other stuff. I’ll probably go again in a few weeks.

Anyway, I can’t wait to go to Rock Werchter! Some great artists are coming this year. My favorite is Radiohead, which is enough for me to go. Some other artists that I like that are coming : Mark Ronson, Adele, Kate Nash, Beck, Underworld, Soulwax, The Chemical Brothers, KT Tunstall, Nightwish. Sounds nice, don’t you think?

Been listening to Beck and Soulwax too to get in the mood. Also been listening to some bands I’m not familiar with that are going to be on Rock Werchter. Digitalism sounds nice.

So a while a go I tried the bigger kite. Not the 8.5 m2 one but the 6.5 m2 meter. There was a strong wind but it was not hard to fly. It’s a very stable kite. It’s not a very good kite to jump with though. It only pulls you forward and not upwards very much.

Last Saturday why went kiting again. The weather forecast wasn’t too good but we decided to go anyway. When I got in my car the sun got it all warmed up, so I thought we would be okay. After a 15 minutes of flying with the buggy I couldn’t get back to the starting point. So my friend gave it a try. He couldn’t get back too. And as he picked up the kite and decided to walk back, it started to rain. So in 30 minutes we were very wet and cold. So we decided to get back home.

We still had fun though. Just not very long.

Yesterday, me and a friend went to Rockanje and bought 2 kites and a kite board. The biggest one is 8.5 m2. We are going to test them tomorrow. I’m really interested to find out how the kite behaves. The biggest one I had in my hands is 4 m2. And that is my Flexifoil Blade II. That thing is suicidal! But I expect the 8.5 m2 to be more stable.

Oh well… We’ll see!

Tomorrow I’ll go kiting again! It will be my 3rd time using the buggy. And already it’s going quite nicely. Don’t have too much trouble going back and forth across the beach. The nicest thing that for about 5 hours you don’t think about a single thing. I’m just enjoying the strong wind and racing with my buggy.

My friend made a bar which should make it a bit more comfortable to kite. I think I’ll give it a try too.
